Frequently asked questions
How do credits work?
One currency: 1 credit is roughly 100 words written. The cost of each action is shown before you start it, and you're only charged if the result is successful. A 100-page book costs about 200 credits; the 100 credits you get for free when you sign up cover a full 40-page guide. With a subscription, each month's credits renew at every billing date and do not carry over.
How do I unlock PDF and EPUB export?
With a free account you write, proofread and lay out your book in the workshop, but you can't download it. Export unlocks with your first purchase: a credit pack (from €10) or a subscription. Once unlocked, it stays yours for life, even if you cancel.
What happens if I cancel Pro or Agency?
You keep lifetime PDF/EPUB export access to the ebooks you've already generated. Your month's credits end with the period: they do not carry over. No commitment, no penalty.
Can I change plans?
Yes, anytime, from your account. Moving up is billed right away, pro rata, and adds the credits you're missing until the end of the current period. Moving down is not refunded: you keep your credits until the end of the period.
Will platforms accept my files?
Your EPUB and PDF meet the requirements of Amazon KDP, Apple Books, Kobo, Google Play, Gumroad and Payhip. The publishing packs for each platform are reserved for Pro and Agency.
